One Killed and Eight Injured in Attack Targeting King Fahd International Airport in Dammam

Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) announced that an attack targeted King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, resulting in the death of one expatriate resident and injuries to eight others.
According to GACA’s official statement, the injured individuals suffered varying degrees of harm—ranging from minor to critical—and were immediately evacuated to regional medical facilities for emergency treatment. Concurrently, a spokesperson for the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen, Maj. Gen. Turki Al-Maliki, confirmed that coalition air defense forces successfully intercepted and destroyed four incoming hostile drones over Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province.
Civil aviation and facility management teams are currently carrying out comprehensive technical assessments to evaluate material damage sustained at the airport. Authorities emphasized that security protocols remain heightened across critical regional infrastructure.
